Trevor's odyssey in the financial markets began over four decades ago on the vibrant floor of the London Coffee Exchange.

His innate talent for deciphering market patterns propelled him through an illustrious career that has since shaped the landscape of technical analysis training.

As a young trader with Merrill Lynch, Trevor's acumen for market timing was evident. His passion for the markets never waned as he ascended to pivotal roles, including the head of Technical Analysis at Bloomberg and a two-time Hedge Fund Manager.

His expertise has been the cornerstone of BETA Group since 2005, where as Director and Expert, he has been instrumental in developing market-timing skills and trading techniques for professionals worldwide.

David Linton

David Linton started out in technical analysis trading on the London Traded Options market in the 1980s while studying engineering at King’s College, University of London.

After graduating he set up Updata where over the years he has become one of the UK’s best known technical analysts and market commentators.

He has taught technical analysis to hundreds of traders around the world and has been a speaker at numerous financial conferences. He is a lecturer for the UK Society of Technical Analysts Diploma.

David holds the Master in Financial Technical Analysis (MFTA) awarded by the International Federation of Technical Analysts and is a member of the American Association of Professional Technical Analysts.

David is author of ‘Cloud Charts, Trading Success with the Ichimoku Technique’ and a leading expert on the subject. While covering all the technical analysis bases, his groundbreaking work in Price Prediction is increasingly recognised as being at the forefront of technical trading techniques. He remains an active trader and investor.

David joins Beta Group in 2024 and brings a wealth of experience to the firm and its clients.
