Heikin- Ashi Charting
Trevor Neil will show you how to use and understand this Japanese technique which is available on Eikon. By using previous period open high low and close data, this new candlestick analysis filters out a lot of the “noise” and gives a clearer picture of the market. Because of the averaging effect in the Heikin-Ashi candle, it has the property of clarifying the trend direction and trend changes. These candlesticks can be used to identify trending periods, potential reversal points and classic technical analysis patterns. This is a session he has run before but has had many requests to go over it again.
