Alpha Beta Indicator
This is a little-known indicator developed by Anthony W. Warren, Ph.D. in 1984.Normally, little-known indicators are little-known because they are no good. But there are some hidden gems. I believe this in one. It has nothing to do with Alpha and BETA. It is a trend following trading system using Standard Deviation and Linear Regression to give its signals. It has the characteristic of identifying the trend and maintaining positions while the trends remain intact. It does a good job of not getting shaken out in the ‘noise’ of the trend.
